These Terms govern your use of ScienceEazy ("the Service"), provided by AI Studio Academy Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ScienceEazy is an AI-powered tutoring tool for South African CAPS Physical Sciences (Grades 10–12). It provides explanations, step-by-step solutions, and feedback. The Service is for learning support and is not a replacement for a qualified teacher.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have parental/guardian consent) to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam, or abuse;
• infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
• attempt to interfere with security, reverse engineer, or scrape the Service;
• submit content that is illegal, hateful, or designed to jailbreak the AI;
• resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

4. AI outputs

AI-generated answers may contain errors. Always verify important results before relying on them for assessments or exams. You are responsible for your prompts, how you use outputs, and confirming you have the rights to any content (photos, notes) you upload.

5. Subscriptions, payment and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Premium is billed monthly at R129. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including software, branding, and curriculum content we author. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal learning within your plan.

7. Service availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may make changes to or suspend the Service for maintenance or security reasons.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may close your account at any time.

9. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for purpose). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, data, or goodwill), except where excluded by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be handled in the competent courts of South Africa.
